Confesercenti Lecce has outlined an itinerary which is based on the search for uniting the stages accomplished by the apostle Peter along the coast of Salento, taking into account historical and geographical references. In the first century after Christ, according to tradition, St. Peter left Antioch and reached Rome, landing on the coast of Salento. Numerous places in our territory bear witness to the passage of the apostle through important historical, cultural and scenic sites.
